Sidney Kenley

Indie Folk with Texas Twang

Texas native Sidney Kenley is an Austin-based singer-songwriter blending folk vulnerability with indie introspection and a touch of Texas twang. With songs that feel both intimate and anthemic, Sidney pairs raw emotion with melodies that linger. Raised on a cattle ranch and surrounded by bluegrass and country, she now claims her space in indie twang while keeping the heart of her ranch roots alive.

Her debut EP Vacancy explores the quiet bravery of emotional openness, with four tracks tracing a journey from self-discovery to goodbye, making space for love, loss, and everything we hold close.

Now, Sidney begins her next chapter with “Get Well Soon,” the first single from her upcoming project, releasing March 6. The new material leans further into indie alt-rock textures while preserving the folky sweetness and lyrical intimacy that define her sound.

With a voice that’s as vulnerable as it is powerful, Sidney invites listeners into her world  where storytelling and emotion collide, and every lyric feels lived-in.

“These songs showed me the vacancy I didn’t know I had. Not an emptiness, but an opening waiting to be filled with something real. Vacancy is an invitation: to let love in, to let go, to feel, to believe, and to take up space.” — Sidney
